Birds play a major role in the functioning of the world’s ecosystems, and they often represent a change in our lives, in addition to our constant feeling of contemplation in the power of the Creator - the Almighty - and our connection to nature.

Therefore, it is not surprising that it is very popular in all over the world, with the diversity of its cultures and the multiplicity of its interests, as every bird has a story that deserves to be discovered first and told next.

A researcher of bird life, interested in their history, and an eco-friend in general.
 
The story began in 2008 with, dove, the symbol of peace,through a comprehensive research that dealt with: 
Genera , species, subspecies ,  habitat, migration, Nutrition, conduct, mating, reproduction, as well as the type of threats faced by these birds, and finding solutions to them, using scientific research systems in the entire genus of Columbidae.
 
At that time, Nasser bin mohamed Al- Jbr worked professionally, using his talent and passion, to monitor, observe and write down the conduct of birds in captivity, not to mention protection and reproduction.  Also, he is active in the field of ornithology, specifically the genus of Columbidae . This family consists of 51 genera, 353 species and 765 subspecies , some of which are in danger of extinction today.
 
As for the main role that Nasser Bin Mohamed Al-Jbr plays, it is represented in protecting and preserving some endangered species, by finding solutions for them, while providing an environment similar to their natural habitat. Some endangered birds have already succeeded in reproduction in captivity; What is considered an achievement locally and regionally, including: the Santa Cruze ground dove, the blue-headed quail-dove, and Socorro dove , ia dove that is extinct in the wild .
 
Nasser Bin Mohamed Al-Jbr ; holds several degrees in ornithology from Cornell University, and also from the Laboratory of Ornithology at Cornell University. He has participated in a number of important seminars in biodiversity conservation and the role of birds in our lives, including a symposium at the Cultural Village Foundation “Katara” in 2018, and another at the Qatar Scientific Club Center in the same year, accompanied by an exhibition of endangered birds listed on the Red List for Nature Conservation and Natural Resources.
 
He is also keen to publish his works on social media on an ongoing basis, in order to spread the culture of ornithology in society, believing in his message of a humanitarian .
 
In 2022 he was honored with the Biodiversity Conservation Award from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in the State of Qatar
